A computer program means is arranged to enable a method of processing bets. There is a processing means that includes a record of the number of gambling events, where each event is divided into a number of event pools. The processing means also receives details of competitors competing in each event. A collective of bettors is also received, where each collective comprises a plurality of bettors. The details of the pools that the collective chooses to bet in is then inputted into the processing means. When a respective gambling event concludes, the computer program means calculates the winnings for each collective and distributes the winnings equally within the collective. Alternatively, the winnings are distributed in proportion to the amount of betting money by each bettor in the collective.
