PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk in which data are recorded in a recording format for preventing the deterioration of the quality of a reproduced signal. SOLUTION: The optical disk having groove tracks and land tracks to be located continually to header area alternately in the direction of the radius has a first header area (109), a first groove track (105) following the terminal of the first header area, a second header area (110) located adjacently to the first header area in the direction of the radius of the first header area while being deviated in the direction of the circumference just for a prescribed length T relative to the first header area and a first land track (105) following the terminal of the second header area and while defining a position away from the terminals of the first and second header areas just for the prescribed length T as a recording starting position in the first groove track and the second land track, contents data are held on both the tracks.
