PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic informing device for a vehicle optimally carrying out automatic informing control in compliance with a collision-possible counterpart. SOLUTION: In a control unit 11, an automatic informing (Mayday) control module 112 is provided with a function for transmitting a relief signal to a Mayday base station 101 in response to detection of an acceleration speed above a predetermined threshold value. An AHS control module 111 is provided with a function for controlling output of an alarm to a driver and driving supporting operation for avoiding danger according to a traveling condition of its own vehicle detected on the basis of input information from a vehicle speed sensor 12, a lateral position detector 13 and the like. While the function of the AHS control module 111 is carried out, the type of an obstacle supposed to collide against the own vehicle, a relative speed of the obstacle to the own vehicle are detected, and according to the detected type and relative speed of the obstacle or energy and the like predicted to generate in the case of the collision, the dimension of the threshold value is changed, and the changed threshold value is transferred to the Mayday control module 112.
