Ignition procedure for gas-heated burner

The procedure for igniting a gas-heated burner has a certain gas flow to the burner and the ignition switched on for a certain time. After a successful ignition attempt, the gas flow is increased to a value corresponding to the modulation set point for the burner. The gas flow after successful ignition is only increased after a certain time to the above value and with lack of flame formation, after a different time the gas flow is increased to another value. In the case of an unsuccessful ignition attempt after a specified time, the gas flow is interrupted and a new ignition attempt is made, and an increased gas flow is set for this attempt. For a successful ignition attempt, this gas flow is maintained and finally increased to the modulation value for the burner.
