PURPOSE: Provided are a lithium secondary battery wherein electric resistant binder which is a crystalline polymer increasing electric resistance of cell by high temperature aging, is diffused between active materials, and a method for producing the same. CONSTITUTION: The lithium secondary battery comprising a cathode, an anode and a separator, is characterized in that the cathode, anode, or both cathode and anode comprise 0.1-10 wt% of electric resistant binder which is at least one selected from the group consisting of polyethylene, polypropylene, chlorinated polyethylene(chlorination degree of 0-50%), polybutylene, chlorinated polypropylene(chlorination degree of 0-50%), and polyethylene derivative. The electric resistant binder has a particle size of 15-40 micrometers.
