The cycle drive is produced through pedals (5) and the force transfer (F) is through a lever (3) which is in driving connection and at an angle to the rod linkage (2) which is mounted rotationally movable on a crank (1). The lever is fixedly connected to a rigid gear element (4). The angle between the rod linkage and lever is prefeferably acute.
