The production of a porous concrete hardened in an autoclave and consisting of lime, cement, sand, water and propellant comprises adding flyash produced from coal-fired power stations and having a grain size of 2000-4000 cm<2>/g according to Blaine to the mixture of lime, cement, sand, water and propellant until a sulfate content of 2-5 wt.% is reached. The flyash acts as a crystallization agent and binder. Preferred Features: Brown coal ash from a fluidized bed circulating firing plant is used. The flyash is additionally ground.
