PURPOSE: A bearing retainer and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to rapidly and easily carry out a work and to improve productivity by automatically feeding balls and the bearing retainer. CONSTITUTION: A bearing retainer is provided to support a plurality of balls(7) interposed between an inner wheel and an outer wheel of a bearing. The bearing retainer includes a ring-shaped base(25) and a plurality of supporting members(30) extending from one side of the base(25). The supporting members(30) are inwardly bent. Both sides of the ball(7) are surrounded by the supporting members(30) so that the inner wheel and the outer wheel of the bearing are slidably moved while making contact with surfaces of the balls(7).
