摘要 Digital circuit for generation and output of digital data with any probability distribution comprises the following: an Linear Feedback Shift Register (LFSR) random number generator that is used to generate a sequence of evenly distributed random data and a memory comprising a look-up table that is used to generate a chosen probability distribution from the random data. The LFSR random number generator can be of Galois or Fibonacci type. The invention also relates to a corresponding wireless LAN emulation and testing device with an inventive digital noise generator and a corresponding testing method.
