FIELD: aviation; devices for protection of aircraft engines against penetration of debris. SUBSTANCE: proposed on-board device includes movable panel mounted in air intake housing which may perform reciprocating motion in horizontal direction. Said panel is rhomboid in shape at angle over leading edge of gamma = 90-100 deg.; it may perform oscillatory motion in horizontal plane of air intake through angle alpha = 30-60 deg. at oscillation period T = 0.5-0.3 s. Length lp of panel to lower leading edge of air intake and height B of midsection of air intake are made at ratio = 0.3-2.0 and width bp of panel and width L of midsection of air intake are made at ratio = 0.9-1.0. EFFECT: reduced probability of suction of debris inside air intake. 2 dwg
