PURPOSE: An apparatus for supporting a piston is provided to lengthen the useful life of the resonance spring by reducing stresses of resonance spring and preventing degradation of fatigue endurance of resonance spring. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus comprises a piston(70) which receives the linear reciprocating driving force of a reciprocating motor, reciprocating in a compression space of a cylinder(60), which includes the first resonance spring(94) and the second resonance spring(95) disposed at both sides thereof, which elastically support the reciprocating motion of the piston. The first resonance spring disposed in the compression space side of the cylinder has elastic modulus smaller than that of the second resonance spring. The first and second resonance springs are formed of a coil spring, and the second resonance spring has a coil diameter larger than that of the first resonance spring.
