PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pollution control device for an endoscope which facilitates and ensures the coating of the endoscope penetrated and arranged with a pipeline for insertion of a therapeutic instrument into an insertion portion with a lagging sheath and the insertion of a tube for insertion of the therapeutic instrument to be performed parallel therewith into the endoscope. SOLUTION: This endoscope is provided with the flexible lagging sheath 20 which has an inner diameter greater than the outer diameter of the endoscope insertion portion 11 penetrated and arranged with the pipeline 12 for insertion of the therapeutic instrument and is freely detachable from the endoscope insertion portion 11 so as to insulate the endoscope insertion portion 11 from the outside environment, a flexible therapeutic instrument insertion tube 21 which is opened at its distal end into the distal end segment of the lagging sheath 20 and is passed at its base end into the pipeline 12 for insertion of the therapeutic instrument of the endoscope and extends from its base end 12b, and a deformation preventive cylinder 22 which is freely detachable from the lagging sheath 20 so as to engage the lagging sheath 20 at both of the front and rear ends by loosely enclosing the lagging sheath 20 over its entire length and has its flexibility smaller than that of the lagging sheath 20.
