PURPOSE: An area information service providing method using a terminal is provided to recognize an area where a mobile terminal user is staying and automatically connect to an Internet site from which the user can search information on the area. CONSTITUTION: When browser is executed by a mobile terminal user(SP1), an SID(System Identification) of a communication system in service is detected(SP2). It is checked whether the detected SID is on an SID list which contains SIDs of every area where roaming service is provided(SP3). If the detected SID is on the SID list, a position is determined to which a browser is supposed to be first connected according to the matched SIDs(SP4,SP5). |
