PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a balloon catheter in which the dilating/contracting response performance of the balloon can be improved without increasing a load to a patient. SOLUTION: The balloon catheter 1 comprises an internal channel 11 formed to communicate with the inside of a balloon 5 from a flow exit/inlet 7a provided at a connector 7 through the interior of the connector 7 and the interior of a catheter shaft 3. The channel 11 is molded in a shape to be straightly extended from the exit/inlet 7a in the connector 7, to be bent on the way and to be extended straightly from the interior of the shaft 3 in such a manner that the approach angle θ of the part 7b extended straightly from the exit/inlet 7a to the part 7c extended straightly into the interior of the shaft 3 is set to a range of 5 to 15 deg.. |
