PURPOSE: An anti-theft handbag is provided to generate an alarm sound when the handbag is intentionally cut with any sharp appliances by a robber, thereby preventing contents received in the handbag from being robbed. CONSTITUTION: The anti-theft handbag comprises an ultra-fine wire(12) densely arranged in vertical and horizontal directions at front and rear portions(10,11) of the handbag, an optical sensor installed at a certain upper position within the handbag, and a sensor(20) for detecting the opening and closing operations of the handbag. The sensors are controlled by a control unit, such as a remote controller.
