PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with recognizing the direction of a steering wheel to improve work efficiency. SOLUTION: A lift-up button 162A or a lift-down button 162C is pressed by an operator, this pressing operation is detected by a switch sensor 41, and a power steering motor 32 is controlled by a target steering speed operating part 34 and a motor driver 37 to set a steering angle detected by a steering angle sensor 33 to reach a corresponding value to the straight running condition of a vehicle. The steering wheel is thus automatically steered to the straight running condition.
