DEVICE FOR MONITORING CONTENTS SERVICE ON NETWORK AND METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A device for monitoring a contents service on a network and a method thereof are provided to check if a contents provider supplies a correct service and a service state on a network. CONSTITUTION: A contents information database(120) includes a URL(Uniform Resource Locator) of a contents supplying server(30). A contents monitoring unit(100) has at least one monitoring processor(110). A bad contents sensing signal transmitting unit(130) transmits a bad contents sensing signal to a manager terminal(40). A manager exclusive contents monitoring unit(150) exchanges information with the manager terminal(40) using a TCP(Transmission Control Protocol) communication method. The contents monitoring unit(100) searches initial information defined by a manager in the contents information database(120). The contents monitoring unit(100) decides the number of processors(110) to be operated by information being obtained in the contents information database(120). Each monitoring processor(110) searches contents allocated according to processors(110) sequentially through a monitoring path received from the contents information database(120). A bad contents sensing signal transmission unit(130) informs a bad contents sensing signal by the contents monitoring unit(100) to the manager terminal(40) and a server.
