BROADBAND DISPERSION COMPENSATION DEVICE USING NDFF

PURPOSE: A broadband dispersion compensation device using NDFF(Negative Dispersion Flattened Fiber) is provided to compensate easily a dispersion value and a dispersion slope by using the NDFF having a negative dispersion value. CONSTITUTION: An input WDM(Wavelength Division Multiplexing) coupler(1) is connected with an optical fiber for transmitting plural optical transmission signals in order to divide an optical signal into particular optical transmission signals. A plurality of NDFFs(2a,2b,2c) are connected with the input WDM coupler in order to compensate dispersion values of the divided particular optical transmission signals. An output WDM coupler(3) is connected with the NDFFs(2a,2b,2c) in order to integrate the compensated optical signal and output the integrated optical signal. A dispersion slope compensation fiber(4) is connected with the output WDM coupler in order to compensate a slope of the integrated optical signal.
