PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device which stably forms an image at the regular position of the sheet material even when paper is re-carried into the device in an unaligned state influenced by the load amount of the leading sheet material on a loading tray, the curl amount and the asymmetry of the curl when images are recorded on both sides. SOLUTION: The image forming device A comprises load detection means 14 for detecting the load amount on a loading tray 13 which loads a sheet material P in which the image is formed; and a reversing mechanism which conveys the paper in a reversed direction to a reversed conveying passage in the device after momentarily reversing a delivery roller 12 when the sheet material P is delivered from the delivery opening for delivering the paper onto the loading tray 13. The load amount detection means 14 on the loading tray 13 detects the state of the sheet material P to control a carriage of the sheet material P or the image forming. |
