PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste treatment apparatus solving the problem that a large amount of dry distillation gas is generated from waste in conventional constitution and discharged to the open air as it is because it is difficult to subject the dry distillation gas to oxididation treatment. SOLUTION: The temperature of a waste treatment container 21 for heating waste A is controlled and a temperature is stepwise raised in a temperature zone generating the dry distillation gas to control the generation amount of the dry distillation gas.
