PURPOSE:To provide a monolithic integrated circuit, which is capable of taking out a large light output from a waveguide, by a method wherein a combined branch circuit for light take-out is introduced in the interiors of the resonator structures of a laser for improving a bonding of the Fabry-Perot laser to the waveguide. CONSTITUTION:A combine/branch circuit 10 for taking out a light output is introduced in the interiors of resonator structures 6 and 7 of a laser and the bonding surfaces of the structures 6 and 7, which are required for oscillation of the semiconductor laser, to a waveguide are respectively provided separately from each other. |
