摘要 PURPOSE: A method and system for measuring a scale and a complexity of software is provided to measure a scale and a complexity of a software with accuracy based on an objective and reasonable criterion, procedure, indicator and an automatic system. CONSTITUTION: On condition that a software scale and complexity measurement object is inputted in a measurement object and environment variable input unit(B01), the measurement object is divided into a detailed statement, a specification, or a source code(B02). In addition, a software demanding matter detailed statement analysis engine, a software specification analysis engine, or a source code analysis engine is selected by the result. In the case that the inputted measurement object is a demanding matter detailed statement, a detailed statement is analyzed by the software demanding matter detailed statement analysis engine. The information for measuring a scale and a complexity of the software is extracted(B03). A software scale and complexity measurement criterion setting engine sets a software scale and complexity measurement criterion using a software scale and complexity measurement criterion database(B06)(B07) and supplies the set measurement criterion to a software scale and complexity measurement engine. The software scale and complexity measurement engine selects a necessary model in a preestimate model base(B09) and measures a software scale and complexity using a knowledge base(B10)(B08) and supplies the measured value to a measurement result output unit. The measurement result output unit outputs the measurement result of the scale and complexity on a screen or a printing paper(B11).
