摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reliability of distance data by performing stereo image processing using a pair of color images. SOLUTION: Stereo matching is performed using a pair of color images respectively composed of plural primary color images. A stereo arithmetic circuit 6 computes a primary color parallax concerning the respective primary color images by performing stereo matching using the primary color image pair of the same color. A fusion processing part 8 calculates a unified parallax concerning one image area as the calculation unit of parallax by operation of sum of products taking the respective primary color parallax as input.
