PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To expand degrees of freedom in the mounting position of an operation force-adjusting means and to mount the operation forceadjusting means to an ease-of-use, functional position by providing the push/pull operation force- adjusting means at a follower member, that follows the push/pull operation of an operation rod at the operation position of a zoom lens for television cameras for conducting the zooming operation of the zoom lens by the push/pull operation of the operation rod that is extended from the zoom lens body. SOLUTION: The operation force-adjusting means 170 adjusts the operation force in the push/pull direction of the operation rod 12 via a toothed belt 108 that is a follower member, and comprises gears 172 and 174, a screw rod 176, a time-stop member 178, a spring 180, a slider gear 182, a gear 184, screw toothed wheels 186 and 188, a knob 190, and the like. The knob 190 is rotated and operated, and the push/pull operation force of the operation rod 12 is adjusted to the operation force depending on the taste of a photographer.
