PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutter for a laminated ceramic electronic component which assures higher production coefficient and can easily start again cutting work which has been once interrupted. SOLUTION: The cutter 1 is configured of a memory 2, an arithmetic unit (CPU) 3, a mark position detecting unit 4, CCD cameras 5a, 5b, a display unit (CRT) 6, a data input unit (keyboard and mouse) 7, a motor control unit 8, a cutting means drive motor 9, a table drive motor 10, a cutting blade 22, a table 21 and the like. The memory 2 is mainly provided to register data for separating a ceramic laminated layer block as a cutting member into a plurality of cutting zones. The arithmetic unit (CPU) 3 calculates the data which has been registered previously to the memory 2 to separate the ceramic laminated block into the plurality of cutting zones.
