The self-tensioning screen-printing frame pulls the screen cloth tight by two members engaging together and gripping it at the edge. An outer frame (3) has a flange (13) protruding radially inwards to accommodate the cloth frame (4), and to which the screen cloth (5) is secured. An inner frame (2) extends through the cloth frame supported on the flange and is lockable to the outerframe (3). Washers (15) are inserted between the cloth frame and the flange, to adjust the tension of the screen cloth. The outer and inner frames can be joined together by a locking ring (10) fitting fully in a peripheral groove (9) in one frame, and engaging in a groove (12) in the other, the ring diameter being adjustable.(DS).
