BAR CODE READER FOR NAME PLATE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately read a bar code 4 formed on a name plate 2 capable of being used for a long period of time. SOLUTION: The bar code 4 is etched on the name plate 2 in which an oxidation film 33 having a film thickness of 0.25-1 μm is formed on a surface of a stainless steel plate 32. A visible radiation is irradiated to this bar code 4, for example, by subsequently driving eight to ten light emission diode 5 and an image of the bar code 4 through a condenser lens 8 is read by a light- receiving means 9 comprising a charge coupled device CCD.
