PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable photographing operability with convenience and to reduce entering of dust. SOLUTION: The device is provided with a plurality of optical systems 3, 4, an image pickup element 7 for photographing an image from each of the optical systems, and a moving mechanism for relatively moving each system and the element to position the element at an image forming position of one system or an image forming position of the other system. Preferably, the systems are respectively arranged so that the optical axes thereof cross approximately each other, and the mechanism is constituted by a rotation mechanism for relatively rotating the moving mechanism centered at the position where the optical axes of the systems cross or in the vicinity thereof. The device may be provided with a position detecting means 22 for detecting relative positions of the element moved by the moving mechanism and the system, a color temperature correcting means for performing color temperature correction suitably to the photographing data on the basis of the relative positions of the element detected by the means 22 and the system, or a position detecting means for performing color temperature correction according to the color temperature of a light source when the position of the element detected by the means 22 is at an image forming position of an optical system additionally provided with the light source.
