PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To derive an optical flow in inexpensive constitution by reducing the calculation amount for the optical flow in a cross-over design. SOLUTION: In deriving the optical flow expressing the movement of the same point for a next frame image, the respective search lines L passing enlarged focal points are set, and the optical flow is calculated using an angle θof radiation made between each set search line L and the X-axis. At the time, the relationship between the amount of movement to the X-axis and the amount of movement to the Y-axis expressing the optical flow is expressed by a geometric calculation expression using the angle θ of radiation, and the optical flow (u, v) is calculated by the geometric calculation expression and a constraint expression using differential values of brightness of a pixel in the directions of X-axis, Y-axis and time. |
