摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost solar battery by increasing the productivity without causing any slice loss by solving the problem that a method for slicing an ingot of the casting method by a wire saw requirs a high device cost and a long slice time and discards about 50% of a silicon raw material to increase the cost, and further can use only a noncontact electrode or vapor-deposition electrode for cell formation since a low-cost process such as screen printing cannot be applied to sheet growth because of an uneven part formed in a sheet substrate although the sheet growth can directly be obtained at a high speed. SOLUTION: Plate type silicon obtained by partially grinding at least projection parts of plate type silicon in an uneven part shape is used for the substrate of a solar battery. By the grinding method for the projection parts, the projection parts are polished at least partially by a grinding mechanism with an abrasive and screen printing as a low-cost process is usable.</p>
