<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interlocking device and method for a supplementary service between different kinds of communication networks that can provide an inter- supplementary service between the communication networks by interlocking an MSC (Mobile Switching Center) with a signal conversion function and a supplementary service apparatus in the communication networks. SOLUTION: This invention relates to interlocking the different kinds of communication networks, and in more detail, a interlocking device and method to apply a supplementary service between the communication networks. Upon request of the supplementary service based on an opposite network, the interlocking device interconnects the supplementary service apparatus providing the supplementary service based on the opposite network and a line, converts a guide message sent from the supplementary service apparatus into an audio coding system of its own network and transmits the resulting message to a subscriber, converts digit information to control the supplementary service sent from the subscriber receiving the guide message and transmits the converted information in a form of traffic message recognizable by the supplementary service apparatus.</p> |
