PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of connecting a flat cable and a connecting terminal, capable of decreasing variation in contact electric resistance. SOLUTION: Each crimp piece 7 of a connecting terminal 4 is pierced in a flat cable 3 coating a flat conductor 1 with a flat insulation layer 2 at a spot of the flat conductor 1, and a tip end portion of each crimp 7 piercing the flat cable 3 is folded to crimp. In the process of cramping by folding the tip end portion of each crimp piece 7, the temperature of a contacting part between at least the flat conductor 1 and each crimp piece 7.
