PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an individual authenticating system, a client side authenticating device, a server, a server side authenticating device, and a biometrics information control method advantageous for securing the safety of important data on individual authentication. SOLUTION: This individual authenticating system 1 comprises one server 2, a plurality of clients 3, a server side fingerprint collator 4, a client side fingerprint collator 5, and a telecommunication line 6. The server 2 and the clients 3 communicate via the telecommunication line 6. The server side fingerprint collator 4 is connected to the server 2. The client side fingerprint collator 5 communicates data in both directions with the server 2, and is connected to the clients 3, and communicates data in both directions with the clients 3. The server side fingerprint collator 4 and the client side fingerprint collator 5 are constituted so as to execute various operations including registering and authenticating processing on the basis of an image signal by inputting the image signal for expressing a gray level image of a fingerprint. |
