PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processor for processing a signal, capable of attaining high speed signal processing by efficiently performing parallel processing for data input through a bus including non-linear processing. SOLUTION: DSP 107 as the processor for processing a signal has a multiplier 203 capable of dividing data with a bit number equal to or smaller than the bus width, for example, 32-bit data transferred from a system bus 109 into a plurality of processing units, for example, four 8-bit data constituting the 32-bit data and performing linear processing for the divided bit data in parallel, an ALU 204, and an LUT 206 capable of performing non-linear processing in parallel using look-up tables LTU 0 to LTU 3 of the same number as the number of the plurality of divided processing units, for example, four loop-up tables. |
