PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a settlement of account method or a settlement of account system capable of selecting the settlement account method convenient for a user himself at a large number of electronic commerce sites. SOLUTION: The settlement of account method has a stage that a transaction information is received from a site of the electronic commerce and is recorded; a stage that a purchase user selects one settlement of account method among a plurality of settlement of account methods; a stage that a payment method of a price is sent to the purchase user based on a selection of the purchase user or the existence of a credit is inquired to a credit company to inform of an existence of the transaction of an interested party of the transaction or a purchase user accesses to a computer of a financial institution and information on the existence of settlement of account is received and inform an existence of the transaction of the interested party of the transaction; and a stage that information on money paid from the purchase user or the credit company or the financial institution to a collection account and is checked with the transaction information to transmit it to the electronic commerce site as information on receipt of money.
