PURPOSE: An automatic center adjustment type apparatus for preventing generation of buckle which is installed between tension reel and bridle roll to prevent generation of defective products due to buckle by automatic center adjustment is provided. CONSTITUTION: The automatic center adjustment type apparatus for preventing generation of buckle comprises a buckle generation preventing device(1) positioned in such a way that the buckle generation preventing device(1) touches the upper part of cold rolled strip; a bracket(4) which supports the buckle generation preventing device(1), and on the center of which a screw groove is formed; a spherical shaft(12) which is inserted into the screw groove of the bracket(4), and the upper part of which is formed in a half-spherical shape; a spherical housing the upper part of which is formed in a flat shape, on the lower part of which a half-spherical concave part is formed so that the spherical shaft(12) is inserted into the half-spherical concave part, and to the lowermost part of which a housing cover is fixed to support the spherical shaft(12); a base(17) to the lower part of which the spherical housing is attached; a pair of cylinders(21) attached to the upper part of the base(17) and movable up and down; and a supporting stand(8) to which the cylinders(21) are adhered, wherein the buckle generation preventing device(1) is always contacted with the strip by the spherical shaft(12), and tension of the strip is adjusted by the cylinders(21) so that flaws due to buckle of the strip are prevented.
