Procedure for making the seal consists of overmolding a pre-extruded core of a thermoplastic material in a mold with a sliding film layer. The overmolding can be carried out with two separately injected thermoplastic materials, one supple and the other rigid or cellular, and the sliding layer can be made by flocking a thermofusible substrate with fibres or applying a sliding film.
