The invention provides a plug connector with an improved durability. The plug connector P includes a terminal 100 serving as a connecting member, a cable 300, and a shield case 700. The cable 300 includes a signal transmission part 310 connected to the terminal 100. The shield case 700 includes a first shell 700a, a second shell 700b, and a first retainer 700c. The first and second shells 700a, 700b are combined together in the Z-Z' direction to form a tube at least partially covering the terminal 100 and the signal transmission part 310. The first shell 700a includes an end face 721 a on the Y'-direction side. The first retainer 700c is a tube or half tube for retaining the cable 300. The first retainer 700c is provided on the second shell 700b so as to be located on the Y'-direction side relative to the end face 72 1 a of the first shell 700a and is in contact with at least a part of the end face 721 a. |
