PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display panel having high luminance and high discharge stability. SOLUTION: When disposing a front base 1 and a back base 2 forming a pair of bases face to face while sealing their peripheral rim part, and adhering a glass tube 11 to at least one base (back base 2) between the pair of bases so as to be connected to an inside space, degassed glass 13 having a low fusing point is disposed in a part where the glass tube 11 adheres to the back base 2, and the glass tube 11 adheres to the back base 2 by softening the glass 13 having the low fusing point.
