The present invention discloses a method of the base station configuration which can establish a default maintenance operation channel between the centralized operation servicing platform and the base station which needed to configure data according to the default IPoA channel which was set at the time that base station was producing and the PVC matching up to it, and configure the data for the base station by this channel, which can make the base station attain IP address when it runs normally, and further establish the IPoA channel when the base station runs normally according to this IP address; the invention can solve the problem in the remote terminal, i.e. the centralized operation servicing platform carries out configuration to the base station by the arrangement described above, and it applies to all kinds of case of networking method by different topology structure, such as star, chain, tree network, and solve the problem of preventing IP address from conflicting in processing of the base station configuration.
