The door is for a vehicle. The fastening of the decorative covering trim (18) to the wall section (22) is achieved on one side by a positive fit along the free projection (221) of the wall section over the window glass guide (23), and on the other side by a flexible connecting element (26). The element holds an area turned away from the projection. The decorative trim lies against the wall section and to produce the positive fit the trim has an inwardly projecting clamping peg (25) whose clear parallel distance from the rear side (181) of the trim corresponds to the thickness of the projecting area (221).
