The control system monitors the speed of the fan and the gas or oil flow to the burner during the start-up phase. The measurement signals are compared with reference values for speed of the fan and rate of increase of speed. A band-shaped conductor is used as the Hall-sensor. The control system may be designed to ensure that the mixture strength remains within acceptable parameters.
