PURPOSE: A display apparatus and a driving method thereof are provided to be capable of preventing the variation of current value due to the deterioration of an EL(Electro Luminescence) device. CONSTITUTION: A display apparatus is provided with an EL device(108), a means for holding a voltage based on a video signal, and a pair of power supply lines(109,110) connected to the mean for holding voltage through at least one switching device. The display apparatus further includes a plurality of transistors(103,104,105) for supplying current to the EL device on the basis of the voltage held by the mean for holding voltage. At this time, the held voltage is the voltage difference between the first voltage of the video signal and the second voltage of the power supply lines. |
