PROCESS FOR PREPARATION OF DIHALOGENOADAMANTANES

摘要

A process for preparation of dihalogenoadamantanes by reacting adamantane which may be alkylated at the 1-position with a halosulfonic acid, characterized by conducting, preferably in the absence of an organic solvent, halogenation into a monohalide in the first stage at a temperature of -5 to 15 °C and then halogenation into a dihalide in the second stage at a temperature of 17 to 35 °C.
