PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a consumable article, a packaging substance, a collective packaging article, a system for managing the consumable article and a method for managing the consumable article wherein information on recovering such as recovery rate and recovery period can be easily known without taking labor and time. SOLUTION: Bar codes 30B and 31B being bar code numbers different on every toner cartridge 30 are stuck on each of the toner cartridge 30 and an individually packed box 31. When it is shipped, the bar code 31B provided on the individually packed box 31 is read and in relation to the bar code number of this read bar code 30B, information on shipment such as the number of kind of a machine, the name of the addressee and date of shipment are recorded in a shipment data storing part 14. When it is recovered, the bar code 30B is read and based on the bar code number of this read bar code 30B, information on recovery such as date of recovery and a condition when it is recovered is recorded in the shipment data storing part 14. A management computer 11 calculates the recovery rate and the recovery period from the information on shipment and the information when it is recovered stored in the shipment data storing part 14. |
