<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic device realizing a wide fixing temperature range, excellent offset resistance, a long fixing member life and the reduction of an odor at the time of fixing. SOLUTION: In this electrophotographic device including an image carrier on the surface of which an electrostatic latent image is formed, and a developing device with which a toner image is formed by sticking toner to the electrostatic latent image, the toner image is heated and pressed to be fixed. The device is provided with: a thermal fixing rotating body having an endless circumferential surface circularly moved and constituted by forming an elastic body layer on the endless circumferential surface; a pressing means on which the thermal fixing rotating body is made to abut with pressure so that a nip part is formed and which locally distorts the elastic body layer in the vicinity of the exit of the nip part; and a transport device for a recording sheet to which the toner image is transferred at the nip part of a recording sheet to which the toner image is transferred and fixed at the nip part. The toner is produced by salting out/fusing resin particles and through a stage for forming particles in a water- based medium and a deodorizing stage.</p> |
