PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molded pulp product having excellent water resistance and moisture resistance. SOLUTION: This molded pulp product having excellent water resistance and moisture resistance is provided by forming a molded pulp product from a raw material pulp slurry singly or combinedly added with 0.1-50.0 wt.% water repellant and/or paper-strengthening agent calculated in terms of solids based on oven dry weight of the pulp and, thereon, performing moisture-proofing treatment of the surface with a moisture-proofing agent.
