PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an outboard motor compact by arranging engine parts in an engine case without interference to other parts. SOLUTION: In this outboard motor mounted with a four-cycle multi-cylinder engine, an intake port and an exhaust port are opened to one side and the other side in a moving direction of a cylinder block of each combustion chamber formed between a cylinder and a cylinder head of a cylinder block arranged in an engine case. An intake manifold having a plurality of branch pipes is arranged on one side in a moving direction of the cylinder block, and an exhaust passage is arranged on the other side in the moving direction of the cylinder block. A portion swelling rearward in the moving direction is sealed by a breather plate from a camshaft side, so as to form a breather chamber at the upper portion of a cylinder head cover. An engine part projecting rearward in the moving direction is arranged to the cylinder head cover at the lower portion of the breather chamber at the swelling portion. |
