PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide joint seal members and a joint construction capable of easily giving waterproofness and fire resistance to the joints between the exterior wall members. SOLUTION: At the joint seal member 1 arranged at the joints 3 formed between side end surfaces 40a and 40b of mutually neighboring exterior wall members 4a and 4b, a seal member 10 adhered watertight respectively to the side end surfaces by elastic deformation arranged between side end surfaces 40a and 40b facing each other, and a heat foaming type fire resistant member 2 is provided, which closes between end surfaces 40a and 40b when heated, foamed and expanded, and the heat foamed type fire resistant member 2 is held by the seal member 10.
