PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic radial tire that can remarkably improve high speed durability and road noises. SOLUTION: The pneumatic radial tire stretches a carcass layer 4 between a left-right pair of bead parts 3, and embeds belt layers 6 on an outer circumference side of the carcass layer 4 in a tread part 1. On an outer circumference side of the belt layers 6, a belt cover layer 7 using a fiber cord comprising a filament of polyolefin ketone having a structure expressed by the following expression (1) is arranged, in which the fiber cord has an elongation percentage of 2.5% or less in the tire; -(CH2 -CH2 -CO)n-(R-CO)m-(1), where 1.05>=(n+m)/n>=1.00 and R is an alkylene group with a carbon number of 3 or more. |
